A German television channel has been working on a program featuring Vietnamese landscapes and people, according to local newswire Vietnamplus.
The 45-minute program by German broadcaster ARD is expected to be released in 2017.
Philipp Abresch, head of the ARD Office Southeast Asia in Singapore and also a member of the production team, said that this is the second time they have made a program on Vietnam.
Abresch and his colleagues have traveled across the country to film the most remarkable scenes and traditional culture activities, especially those of ethnic minority groups.
The program will also showcase Vietnam’s popular tourism destinations, including the ancient town of Hoi An, the capital city of Hanoi, and the UNESCO-recognized Ha Long Bay.
The team has flown back and forth between Germany and Vietnam to capture the most beautiful sceneries in different seasons, Abresch added.
They also came to the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang to learn about locals’ farming methods and culture in Hoang Su Phi, a local highland district.
The team was really impressed by the stunning scenery and rice terraces in the area, the German head said.
