President calls to boost businesses’ role
President Truong Tan Sang has called on Vietnamese businesses to attach special attention to tapping potentials of domestic and international markets, and continuing making practical contributions to promoting images of the country and people.
The President made the call at a meeting in Hanoi with outstanding entrepreneurs who were honored with the title of the 2012 National Trademark Award.

In 2012, the enterprises participating the National Trademark Award programme signed many contracts worth of over 1 billion USD. Their business has obtained vigorous growth despite numerous difficulties inside and outside the country.
Sang highly evaluated great efforts by programme’s council, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies in actively popularising the image of the country’s brand names.
The State leader also urged the council and the ministry to continue creating favourable conditions for businesses to reach heir set targets for 2013 in the context that the domestic and global economy are forecast to continue facing challenges.
