Yingluck Shinawatra visits Hanoi’s Old Quarter Thailand’s Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra visited some popular tourist attractions in Vietnamese capital like Hanoi’s Old Quarter, One Pillar Pagoda, and Uncle Ho’s Tomb after the 2nd Vietnam -Thailand joint Cabinet meeting on October 27. At Presidential Palace Historical Site where Vietnamese late president Ho Chi Minh lived and worked in most of his revolutionary life, Thai PM looked excited to feed pond fish. Shinawatra also went to Hang Gai Street, a “Silk Street” in the Old Quarter, for some shopping where many locals and international tourists realized and photographed her. Thai PM looked very friendly while touring the Old Quarter thanks to her radiant smiles. Yingluck Shinawatra paid an official visit to Vietnam to co-chair with her Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung the 2nd Vietnam-Thailand joint Cabinet meeting with its focus on reviewing the implementation of agreements reached at the first meeting in 2004, discussing measures to strengthen friendly and cooperative ties between the two nations, and exchanging views about international and regional issues of common interest.  Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra went for a walk on Hang Gai Street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter on October 27, 2012.
